Hello West Island residents! This is Lisa Esten, President of the West Island Improvement Association (WIIA). I hope you've all been enjoying the excellent weather in recent days. 

In this email, please find an update about our schedule for Saturday, July 11th. In addition, I am also excited to announce that we are now seeking your assistance in soliciting nominations for this year's West Island Improvement Association Hall of Fame Award.  If you have someone in mind, please contact me for an application.

Saturday, July 11, 2020 Schedule

Silent Auction
When: 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
What: At the silent auction, participants will place bids on items throughout our set time frame, 2 to 6 p.m. All are welcome! After the silent auction closes, the highest listed bidder for each item will win! The theme of this year's auction is "West Island Made," and we are still looking for donations. If you'd like to contribute to this fundraising effort, please contact Claudia Pompella 774-202-3364.

Voting 
When: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
What: This event is open to WIIA members only, as we will be electing new members to the WIIA board for the next year. 

***WIIA Annual Meeting***
When: Starts at 4 p.m.
What: At the annual meeting, WIIA members can talk about upcoming events, activities, and problems which impact the West Island community. We highly encourage that all members attend! 

Wine and Cheese Social
When: After the WIIA Annual Meeting
What: At this members-only event, we look forward to building our community as the summer season enters full swing! At 6 p.m., we will be honoring the new addition(s) to the Wall of Honor, so get those nominations in!
